Add value
Our organization aims to add value. With our entrepreneurship we strive to create value for all stakeholders. In the past, we thought there were four main stakeholder groups: suppliers, customers, shareholders and employees. We add value and invest our energy for all these groups.
However, over the years we have realized that there is a fifth stakeholder that is at least as important: the environment. This 'environment', or 'the environment', is a very important stakeholder. This environment is mainly located in our own neighborhood and deserves as much attention and care as the other stakeholders.
Local
For us, the closer something is, the more important it becomes. That is why we attach so much importance to local entrepreneurship. We support a well-organized government that pays attention to SMEs that do business locally. This interaction contributes to a better environment.
Our lighting is therefore produced here in Venlo, Limburg, in our own print farm. We do not outsource to Asia, Eastern Europe or other distant locations. Naturally, we adhere to all regulations during our production process, which are partly responsible for the environment. This leads us directly to the importance of sustainability, something we are strongly committed to.
Durable
In our view, this means minimizing the burden on our environment. First of all, we do this by producing lighting that is timeless and, above all, long lasting. For this we use high-quality materials that are manufactured in the most sustainable way possible and comply with European legislation. This includes aspects such as maximum CO2 and nitrogen emissions, as well as other environmentally friendly measures, such as minimizing transport. The closer we source our materials, the less transport is required.
An important material we use is PLA. PLA is made from lactic acid, which comes from agricultural crops such as corn and sugar cane. This makes something that had little value valuable again. In addition to the environment, we also take into account social aspects within our environment, such as schools, safety and health.
